So this is an introduction! I wanted to make a blog to just talk about my views and the views of some of the people I know. These are just my views. They are not always informed or perfect. I may post views that at sometimes seem a little extreme to some people's way of thinking but I have seen the same from the "left". Again, these are just my views and not to be taken as fact. I may even post an article now and then that catches my eye or a video that is meant to inform. With the election coming up and so many things to consider, I thought a blog might be appropriate. I do a little work for a tea party organization and I do get to see some things from their perspective. I was there at the very first tea party rally a couple years back on July 4th. It really meant something then and it still does. We are concerned about our country. We see many changes and we want to step up and do something about it. Many people are stepping up in ways that will really make a difference. Running for public office, helping out in local chapters of the tea party, and generally doing their part in seeing that local officials are doing what needs to be done and why we sent them to their jobs in the first place.
We don't have to be out there everyday in the limelight like the occupiers destroying property and generally making a nusiance of ourselves. We are working behind the scenes. Why in our state alone we have overthrown the old guard democrats that ran the state for many years and replaced them all with republicans and are now getting things done our way. I really hope we can start working city by city in this state now..it would be very nice to see the whole state turn around.
Will I tell you where I am from? No, I think I will leave that for later. As a matter of fact, I think I am going to leave the about page blank for now. Occupiers...if you REALLY want to make a difference you should organize and elect into office those you want to vote your way...oh but that is right...you want a socialist form of government and they don't allow that sort of thing. Well, they do but in a corrupt form at the least. Communism is the next form or do you wish a dictatorship where you just have someone you THINK will take care of you forever?
Let's see.....can we name ONE dictator who did that for his country? Some might name Fidel Castro but then why all the boat people??? Fleeing for one's life doesn't seem like it was the best place to live. And let's see...oh yeah, the one all the celebrities go to see. He rules with an iron hand. Just ask anyone who used to live there and isn't afraid for family who still does. Let's face it....that type of government doesn't work.
So that is just a taste of some of the stuff I believe in....stay tuned.
